Breaking Canada (Toronto) continues its long standing partnership with Harbourfront Centre as it presents Rock Harder, during the Kuumba Festival this February 15-16, 2025.

‍

Breaking Canada and You Be ILL have been producing events at Harbourfront Centre for almost two decades now, and we are very excited to be part of the next Kuumba Festival.  Breakers from all over the world will come together to celebrate competitiveness, individuality, improvisation, and expression.  What better way to express our inner voice than to display through movement and character in conversation-like debate, the battle.

The event will feature several activations for spectators to witness world class talent at the Breaking Canada Youth Circuit, Open 2v2 Breaking Competition, Open Bonnie & Clyde Competition, Invitational You Be ILL Championship, and other special guest feature presentations and performances.

‍

As a precursor to the main event, we will also be partnering with Floorgangz to present the second open 2v2 footwork battle on February 14th!

‍

Rock Harder Youth Competition and Preliminaries will be taken place at the Lakeside Terrace between 11am to 8pm on Saturday, February 15th.

The Main Event Rock Harder Finals will be in the Harbourfront Centre Theatre starting at 5pm on Sunday, February 16th.

‍

All competitors must obtain tickets for both days to be able to compete and be guaranteed access to the Harbourfront Centre Theatre on Day 2.

‍

Tickets for Lakeside Terrace are pay what you can ($15, $10, $5, and $0).  Tickets for the Main Event Rock Harder finals (Harbourfront Centre Theatre Day 2) are $25.
